Welcome!

We’re so glad you found us! Bee Merry Farm is a small-scale flower farm in the heart of Skagit Valley farmland. We grow a variety of flowers for florists and private customers, and we specialize in dahlias for both cut-flower and tuber production. In addition to growing beautiful, seasonal flowers, we also sell honey, fine woodwork from our own woodshop, and a modest variety of products from select vendors.

Our in-person sale is on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 from 10am-2pm. We are thrilled to combine our offerings with beauties grown by fellow local growers Brenna Estrada (Three Brothers Blooms), Nina Foster (Trillium Finch), and Allison Lingbloom (Kale Lane Dahlias). Any Bee Merry Farm stock remaining after the in-person sale will be offered at our online sale. Nina, Brenna, Allison, and I look forward to chatting dahlias in person with you! Location: A.J. Johnson Barn, 17322 Beaver Marsh Road, Mount Vernon, WA.

Our online sale is on Saturday, March 15th at 4pm Pacific Time. Varieties will be updated following our in-person sale. Online orders will ship or be ready for farm pick-up in early April.

U-Pick FAQs

For your safety: We do keep honeybees on site; please be respectful of our happy little pollinators. This is a working farm. There are unlevel walking paths, ground-level irrigation, and the occasional wandering chicken. We are not responsible for any injuries incurred at our farm; use caution when visiting and maintain supervision of young children. Clippers should only be used by adults only.

  • Private u-picks are available only by appointment, August through mid-October. We no longer maintain public u-pick hours.

  • 16535 Jungquist Road, Mount Vernon, WA.

    Parking is located west of the house in the large grassy lawn/field area. Please do not park on the road or on neighboring properties.

  • A $25 minimum is required for u-pick appointments; this covers 25 stems. Additional flowers cost $1 per stem. BYO jar (preferred) or purchase one here for $1.50.

    Cash or Venmo only.

  • All u-pick guests are required to follow our clipper disinfecting protocol; this involves cleaning clippers between each plant. Guests will be provided a tutorial on how to harvest flowers and properly disinfect clippers between plants; clippers and disinfecting materials will be provided. This is essential for maintaining the health of our dahlia stock.

    Clippers are to be used by adult visitors only. Children should not handle clippers or help with the clipper disinfecting process.

    All guests must sign a release of liability before harvesting flowers. We are not responsible for any injuries incurred at our farm.

  • Of course!

    We do ask that professional photoshoots (e.g. senior portraits, maternity photoshoots, family sessions, etc.) are scheduled separately from u-pick appointments.

  • Yes! Bistro tables are available for your use. Feel free to bring a blanket and a picnic.

  • Please leave 4-legged friends at home for the comfort of guests and our farm dogs, Hattie Mae and Auggie. Exceptions are made for photoshoots that include family pets.

    Service animals are permitted.

  • There is no restroom access on site.
